About the Team At ScribeUp, you'll join a tight-knit team of passionate individuals dedicated to revolutionizing subscription management. We value autonomy, encourage initiative, and support each other in achieving our goals. We're seeking a highly capable junior engineer with solid foundations and a hunger to grow. You’ve done meaningful work already, but you're ready for more ownership and a chance to move faster. We’re looking for someone who wants to build real products end-to-end: you’ll own features from frontend through backend and ship them to users quickly. This is a great opportunity for a self-starter, early in their career, who prioritizes outsized responsibility (relative to your experience) and a direct working relationship with our CTO (& Co-Founder). This is a good fit for someone looking to be ca challenge and early exposure to what it takes to build a startup themselves one day. Develop and maintain full-stack applications using React for the frontend and Python (Django) for the backend. Design and implement RESTful APIs to support frontend functionality. Ensure responsive design and cross-platform compatibility. Collaborate with product and design teams to define, design, and ship new features. Write clean, maintainable code and conduct code reviews. 1–4 years of experience as a software engineer. Proficiency in full-stack development using React and Python (Django or Flask) . Experience with RESTful API design and implementation. Strong understanding of responsive design principles. Proficiency with SQL and relational database concepts Experience with Github Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Experience with startups or small teams. Experience with AWS Strong eye for UX or interest in product thinking. Familiarity with modern UI libraries (e.g., Tailwind, Bootstrap, Material UI), building off of Figma mockups.
