Job Description
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
We are currently seeking an experienced Oncology Pharmacist for a travel contract with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role. This position is based at a respected Cancer and Infusion Center in Berkshire County, MA , and offers the chance to work with a collaborative oncology team in a dynamic clinical environment.
Contract Opportunity: Travel Oncology PharmacistAssess patient therapy for appropriateness, age-specific considerations, and clinical interventions to prevent adverse drug events
Conduct clinical research and participate in professional development programs
Serve as a liaison to other departments within the Cancer and Infusion Center, supporting new treatment regimens and providing education
Demonstrate deep knowledge of IV admixtures, chemotherapy preparation, and sterile product regulations
Supervise pharmacy technicians and other support staff
Maintain and manage medication inventory
Assist in the development and revision of departmental and nursing policies
Collaborate with the oncology team to standardize chemotherapy ordering procedures
5+ years of acute care clinical pharmacy experience, preferably in oncology
Ability to pound and mix chemotherapy agents is required
pletion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency in Oncology is strongly preferred
Board Certification in Oncology Pharmacy (BCOP) is strongly preferred
Demonstrated ability to work independently and supervise support personnel
Experience with specialty pharmacy medication management
Must have access to reliable transportation for local travel needs

Licensure: Active pharmacist license in Massachusetts (or willingness to obtain)
