Job Title: APEX Developer
Location: Remote
Type: Part-Time Contract

Seeking an experienced Oracle APEX Developer to enhance and maintain a custom APEX application to meet evolving regulatory needs. This role involves upgrading the application, integrating new features, optimizing database performance, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and security requirements. The position is part-time with an expected total of 600 hours over the contract period, starting in September 2025 and ending in August 2026.

Your role:

• Upgrade and enhance a custom Oracle APEX application to support future business and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to clarify requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Write, test, and optimize SQL and PL/SQL scripts to ensure efficient, secure, and reliable data handling.
• Integrate daily data uploads from multiple systems into the APEX application for consistent and accessible information.
• Ensure application compliance with security policies, best practices, and data protection standards.
• Utilize APEX plugins to extend application functionality and improve user experience.
• Maintain thorough documentation of development processes, configurations, and enhancements.
• Follow established project timelines and communicate progress to relevant stakeholders.

What you’ve got:

• 8+ years of experience with web technologies including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• 3+ years of hands-on Oracle APEX development experience.
• 3+ years of expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programming.
• 3+ years of experience with Oracle database management and optimization.
• Strong familiarity with APEX plugins and integration techniques.
• Oracle APEX Developer Certified Expert (preferred).
• Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate (preferred).
• Ability to work independently in a telework environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
